Frequently Asked Questions

Attendees are welcome to take photographs and videos for personal use during the event and we encourage you to post content on social media; we encourage you to tag us in to your content.

Photography and filming of individuals e.g. cosplayers, guests, hosts, should only be taken with their consent. Please be courteous and ask beforehand.

Photography and filming for commercial use, including YouTube channels or similar, is strictly prohibited, unless you are a designated showcaser or otherwise part of the event organisation. Professional photographic and filming equipment will not be allowed unless agreed in advance. If you have professional equipment without a pass you will be asked to leave. 

If you are a content creator and would like to record footage at Timeless Gaming Convention, please contact us prior to attending to apply for a Content Creator Pass/Media Pass.

By Car
Heading on the A562 in Liverpool, turn onto Grafton Street on the junction with the A5037. Punch Tarmeys is the second building on the left, and immediately afterwards is the main car park.

By Rail
Liverpool has some main train lines with Liverpool Central just a short walk from the station to the venue; just 1 mile (20mins).

 
By Air
We love to welcome visitors from even further away! Liverpool John Lennon Airport is less than 20 minutes from the venue. From there you can travel by Bus (500) or taxi to arrive at the venue. 

Where can I stay?
Hotels – There are a wide range of local hotels in the city that are close to the venue. We have a partnership with Liverpool Convention Bureau for a wide range of discounted hotels, check them out on our event page here: Timeless special discount here.

As well as all the games you can play, we have two stages with seminars, Q&A’s, keynote speakers and gaming challenges – please check the what's on page as its being updated regularly with the schedule of the day and who is on.

Yes you are more than welcome to – in fact we encourage it because we are doing a cosplay showcase so you can show off your costumes - please note we do not have changing facilities on site.

Yes, there are multiple bars that serve alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages and a variety of food, which will be open all day. – Please note you cannot bring your own food and drink into the venue.

Baby Changing Facilities

There are baby changing facilities in both male and female toilets around the venue. 

Wheelchair Access

Disabled toilets are available, and the majority of the site has wheelchair access. However, it should be noted that there are alternative routes to get to some areas, and there are a couple of small areas that do not have disabled access. 

General Building Information

There are 3 main areas that make up Timeless this year. Entrance, stalls and stages are in Punch Tarmeys. The Arcade is on multiple floors, but with the vast majority of the machines on the 2nd floor. Finally, there is an outdoor (covered) area ideal for relaxing and having meals.

The front of the building on Grafton street has the main entrance for Punch Tarmeys and is the main entrance for the event. To the left of the main door is the accessibility entrance; just let security on the main door know you need access, and someone will be there to help and welcome you in. From here you can access all of Punch Tarmeys and the first (ground) floor of Arcains arcade.

Accessing Arcains Floor 2 and the Outside Courtyard

If you require an accessibility access to Arcains floor 2 for majority of the arcade machines, or if you want to go to the courtyard for some fresh air and/or food, head to the front desk. The team will have dedicated people on hand to help escort you around the building and into the courtyard. The courtyard also has ramp access to the Second floor of Arcains. If you are in these areas and want to get back to Punch Tarmeys, please see a member of staff who will be able to give you access.

Toilets

There are accessibility toilets in the main Toilets for Punch Tarmeys - they are located inside both the men's and women's toilets. Arcains also has accessibility toilets, which are located near the Main Bar on level 2.

Your enjoyment at the event is extremely important to us. If you have any questions before the event, or on the day, please feel free to ask a member of our team or the onsite staff.

Carers Pass

We of course have free carers tickets - however, in the interest of security and health & safety, we request that you order a special carers pass (free of charge) according the following process.

• Please order the ticket for the guest as required
• Contact Timeless through either our social media or player1@timelessgaming.co.uk with your order number and proof of carer (eg access card or PIP letter).
• We will then give you a code and a link to the carers ticket, which will make this ticket free to order for the carer.

We suggest children from the ages of 5+ will enjoy this event as much as adults. That said, we understand that people may want to bring their children, which is why we have allowed free entry for children under 5. There are also baby changing facilities on site. 

Please note that all children under 16 need to be accompanied by an adult. If they are not they will not be allowed entry.

All tickets are virtual. Please bring your order number (AT****** number) on the day and we will give you your pass(s). There are no physical tickets, so you will not be posted tickets in advance, nor will you be required to pick up tickets in advance of the event.

Upgrading to VIP

If you have purchased a standard ticket and would like to upgrade to a VIP ticket, please follow this process:

• Contact Timeless through either our social media or player1@timelessgaming.co.uk with your order number. 
• We will then give you a code and a link to the upgrade ticket, which will make this ticket reduced to £30.00.

If the upgrade ticket is purchased without a code, you will be given a VIP ticket, but as per our Terms & Conditions we are unable to offer any refunds if purchased in error.
